Salt Lake City, UT—Congressman Jim Matheson said he’s proud to once again receive the campaign endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of more than three million businesses throughout the U.S.
The endorsement letter from Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue says Matheson earned it as a result of his “record of support on pro-business issues.”
“We believe that your re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create more jobs and get our country back on track,” Donohue’s letter says.
Matheson said he’s honored to have the Chamber’s support, noting that the group represents businesses and organizations of every size, sector and region of the country.
“Companies and employees have weathered the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression by becoming more efficient, more innovative, more productive and more competitive,” said Matheson. “I am all about constructive policies that support the growth and success of private enterprise.”
